Butterflies in Bandhavgarh : 
 
The insect life of Bandhavgarh National Park is amazing with millions of species that find home in this magnificent reserve. Special emphasis is on the winged wonders the butterflies that inhabit the reserve. There exists a mind boggling variety of butterflies that live in the wildlife preserve. The winged creatures are much a subject of research in the park.

The preserve is home to butterflies and moths of all size. The greater attractions are the swallowtails, pansies, egg flies and more. Some of the butterflies regularly seen are daniad egg fly, common grass yellow, common crow, common leopard, plain tiger, striped tiger, baronet, common wanderer, peacock pansy, chocolate pansy, gray pansy, blue mormon, common rose, lime blue, lime butterfly and many many more.
